I Am Healing iN Music is a Health and Wellness business founded by Doc T Elliott, focusing on Sound Healing Therapy and Drum Circles. The business was primarily to engage Black males and others, on the importance of using music as a mindfulness practice.
We value the cultural knowledge of music and work to encourage our communities to involve themselves in participatory chanting, drumming, and meditating with sound healing instruments, to rejoice, rejuvenate, and reclaim the treasures of our lives.
Our goal is to connect music’s healing prescriptions and enhance good health through meditation, breath work, and toning. We aim to promote healing and resilience that cultivates individual social well-being and develop leadership through the transformative power of music.
Sound Bath Therapy
A Sound Bath Therapy experience focuses on relaxing and meditating with reverberating healing devices for wellness, including Crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, aerophones (flute and didgeridoo) and idiophone instruments, such as a gong, chimes, rainstick, and rattles. These sessions may include Qigong breathing exercises and Mindfulness Meditations to retune and de-stress the body, mind, and spirit.
